Coach Martinez Bio

A Milwaukee native, Nick began his coaching career with the Menomonee Falls Soccer Club, where he spent four years helping to develop the club and its players. He then joined the coaching staff at FC Milwaukee Nationals, where under the mentorship of Peter Knezic, he contributed to a team that captured the Wisconsin State Championship and competed in both the Region II Championships and the prestigious Dallas Cup.

Following his tenure at FC Milwaukee, and after earning his U.S. Soccer National “C” License, Nick joined North Shore United, where he spent another four years. During this period, he earned his USSF “B” License and coached a wide range of teams, from elite youth regional squads to a Men’s Majors WSL team.

In 2017, Nick took on the role of Director of Coaching at the Croatian Eagles, where he served for two years. In addition to overseeing the club’s coaching development, he coached two youth teams and a high school regional-level team.

Nick brings a passion for teaching, a detail-oriented approach, and a strong playing background to every session. As a player, he was a three-year captain at Menomonee Falls High School and competed at the club level with Bavarian SC—winning multiple state titles—as well as Mequon United.

He is deeply committed to using the game of soccer as a vehicle for growth both on and off the field.
