SIQ Training offers individual and small group training specific to soccer and futsal year round for all ages and abilities. Individual sessions run for 60 minutes, Small group Training 60-75 minutes depending on the size of the group. Our Schedule is versatile and will be able to work around the player’s routine, which is important if the player has team training or match events at other points in their week.
Our MISSION is to facilitate a safe, and fun training environment that increases the players confidence and ability in their specific role or position within their High School, Club, or Futsal team. We focus on this by consistently engaging the player with GUIDED questions, to let them unfold their true potential by exploring different perspectives. We incorporate these values, along with a high standard of technical training and breaking down tactical situations repeatedly to organically increase the players Soccer IQ, or the ability to problem solve with REASONING, CONFIDENCE and DECISION MAKING.
Sessions are led by long-time Milwaukee native, Coach Nick Martinez. Nick holds a current USSF B License and has been coaching youth soccer over the last 20 years at clubs such as FC Milwaukee Nationals, Croatian Eagles and most recently at North Shore United. Nick has been developing the Soccer IQ of countless youth players at all levels of play, Recreational, Select Competitive, Regional Elite, National Elite, and Collegiate.
We understand that a player's High School, Club, or Futsal coach may only play that player at one specific position. Soccer IQ Training is designed for the player to be able to have the option to improve that position, as well as to have the possibility of learning a new position in the game. If you have an understanding of multiple roles or positions on the team, Soccer IQ will organically increase. We believe this will give you the ability and confidence to play more than one position on your team, thus increasing your playing time, which should in hand increase development and eventually your exposure to college scouts, if that's what your end goal is!
A high school coach plays you in a completely different role than your club coach. This can create anxiety and fear of failure in a player, eventually affecting their confidence and decision making, which usually leads to a poor performance and possibly not having a role on the team at all! We want to change that narrative for you, encouraging you to utilize your mistakes for learning and improving to help get you the confidence you need to play any role or position for your team.
To improve IQ for your specific position increasing player confidence, decision making, foot skills, speed, agility and quickness.
